Jim Pugliese
Founder & CEO

Jim Pugliese is the Founder and CEO of Centurian group. He has over 40 years of experience as an entrepreneur, executive and M&A advisor. In addition to leading many regional and national companies that included start-ups, turnarounds, and industry consolidations, Jim raised over $400 million of institutional private equity capital and has completed M&A transactions across numerous industries.

Jim received a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of Connecticut. He is securities licensed, and has been a member of the Fairchester/Greenwich Chapter of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) since 1991, and served on its Board for many years.

Jamie Johnson
Vice President, M&A

Jamie brings 7 years of experience in SaaS sales, specializing in full-cycle sales to senior executives in the tech sector. As Vice President, M&A at Centurian Group, Jamie oversees all phases of the deal process for both sell-side and buy-side clients.

Prior to joining Centurian Group, Jamie held roles at monday.com, Justworks, and Slice Inc., where he was recognized for his ability to build long-term client relationships.

Jamie holds a B.S. in Management from Tulane University's A.B. Freeman School of Business, with a focus on Finance and Management. Outside of work, he enjoys contributing to charitable causes, intramural sports, and following the Philadelphia Eagles.

Noreen Laher
Marketing Coordinator

Noreen brings a diverse background in marketing and administrative management to her role at Centurian Group. As Marketing Coordinator, Noreen drives the firm’s social media strategy and execution, ensuring cohesive branding and engagement across platforms, while also managing day-to-day administrative functions that support the team’s operational efficiency.

Outside of work, she loves swimming and believes that a good dip in nature keeps the mind fresh and the workday even more productive.

Brian Seested, CPA

Brian joined Topche & Company LLC in June 2021 and was admitted as a member in January 2022. Brian specializes in servicing the needs of the closely held business. These services include a focus on audits, reviews and financial statement compilations, as well as agreed upon procedures engagements and technical accounting research.

Brian began his career as a staff accountant at Deloitte & Touche in 2006 where he had experiences on the audits of public companies in the life sciences industry and private companies in the financial services industry. In 2010, Brian joined Ernst & Young’s Financial Services Organization as a senior accountant where he was part of the audit practice and served clients in the wealth and asset management industry. He advanced to senior manager in 2014. His responsibilities included the supervision over audits of private entities that included investment advisors, private equity funds, credit funds and hedge funds. He also had regular experience in audits of entities regulated by the SEC, including leading an audit client through an initial public offering.

While at Ernst & Young, Brian was also a regional sector leader for various steering committees and national practice initiatives, including industry-specific and audit efficiency-focused initiatives. Brian worked for Ernst & Young in both their New York and Chicago offices over his tenure.

Attorney Richard Satin
M&A Legal Advisor Satin & Lee Law Firm

Richard has extensive experience representing targets and acquirers in mergers and acquisitions; corporate issuers and investors in public and private debt and equity offerings and ongoing securities and regulatory compliance in securities law transactions pursuant to the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934; financial institutions and businesses in the area of commercial lending including single credit facilities, secured and unsecured transactions and senior and subordinated loan financings. His clients range from early emerging growth/early-stage development companies to complex multi-national diversified manufacturers across a broad range of industries, including insurance distribution, healthcare, and technology. Mr. Satin has completed more than 500 transactions with an aggregate value of more than $5 billion dollars.

Prior to founding Satin and Lee Law P.C. , Richard was a partner at a large regional law firm with offices throughout the United States, including serving as the Managing Partner of its New York office. Prior thereto, Richard spent more than 15 years as the Chief Legal Officer for a NASDAQ listed medical device company with responsibilities for all aspects of the company’s legal affairs around the world. Richard also served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer for many of those years as well.

Attorney Kevin Grant

Kevin Grant’s practice includes mergers, acquisitions, asset and stock purchases, joint ventures, restricted stock, and other incentive programs for key executives and employees. He typically represents both buyers and sellers in M&A transactions within the wholesale and retail insurance industry. Over the past two decades, he has closed more than 200 insurance industry transactions with the largest private and public insurance companies in the country. In addition to his experience in the insurance industry, Kevin has a broad range of experience in agricultural and real property transactions, business contracts, business succession agreements, and general corporate law. Kevin strives to provide his clients with practical, real-world business solutions to meet their needs and to help his clients realize value from his services.

Kevin became a lawyer so that he could help people analyze, react to and solve business problems. As an attorney, he believes that he is in a unique position to help provide services and advice that allow his clients to fulfill their business goals on an ongoing basis. He relishes the ability to work with supportive colleagues and assist clients with sophisticated legal and business issues. Kevin integrates his diverse and wide-ranging skills into his corporate, business, and real estate practice. Kevin likes to analyze issues from a business-practical standpoint, and assist his client to efficiently solve their business issues in an advantageous manner.

Away from the office, Kevin enjoys spending time with his family and staying active by participating in various community events, along with running, fitness, and sports.
